Refund and Returns Policy
At AutoMods, we want you to shop with confidence. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.
Returns
You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must:
- Be unused and in its original condition.
- Be returned in its original packaging with all accessories and documentation.
- Be accompanied by proof of purchase or your order number.
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty or supplied incorrectly:
- Custom-made or personalised products (including custom number plates, decals or bespoke items).
- Special order or made-to-order products.
- Electrical components that have been installed or used.
- Fluids, oils, additives and chemicals where the seal has been broken.
- Gift cards.
- Clearance or final sale items.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged or develops a manufacturing fault, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number.
- A description of the issue.
- Clear photographs showing the damage or fault.
We will inspect the claim and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, repair or refund.
Incorrect Items
If you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately. We will arrange collection or replacement at no additional cost.
Change of Mind
If you’ve changed your mind, you may return eligible items within 14 days of delivery.
The customer is responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or we supplied the incorrect product.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot accept responsibility for returns lost in transit.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll notify you of the outcome.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a faulty item.
Exchanges
We only replace items that are defective, damaged or supplied incorrectly.
If you require a different size, colour or model, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help arrange an exchange where possible.
Warranty
Many products sold by AutoMods are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.
Warranty periods vary depending on the product and manufacturer.
Warranty does not cover:
- Incorrect installation.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Accidental damage.
- Misuse or abuse.
- Damage caused by modifications or improper maintenance.
Return Shipping
Unless the return is due to our error or a faulty product:
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Original delivery charges are not refundable.
- We recommend using tracked and insured postage.
Vehicle Compatibility
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure products are compatible with their vehicle before purchase.

Professional Installation
AutoMods cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by incorrect installation of products supplied.
We recommend all electrical, performance and safety-related products are installed by a qualified professional.
